No Name

Well - everyone is asking and NO we don't have a name yet!! (AIII!!) We are freaking out about it a little bit, but nothing has hit us yet that we just love!! We are hoping that once he is here he will look like one of our top 4 favorites...Colton Lance, Mason Lance, Landon Lance, or Jackson Edward...if that doesn't work, we may be taking a poll at the hospital :-)

That stress aside! Look at our beautiful crib and bedding! Crib from my Mom and bedding from Lance's parents. LOVE IT!

No Baby Yet and Bed Rest

Well - no baby yet...my blood pressure was ok at the doctor yesterday (not much higher, but not low) so we are going to wait until our scheduled date on Thursday...I guess this baby is not coming ONE MINUTE sooner than 1:30pm on Thursday!!!!

Bed Rest is going great! See picture above :-) my great friend Sonia brought be a Red Velvet Cake from Celebrity and we went ahead and dug into it right there on my bed :-) Hopefully I will survive 2 more days of this!!

Baby Kobza

Baby Kobza is due to arrive on May the 6th! Chase was LATE for his due date, but due to a scheduled c-section, Baby Kobza is set to arrive on May the 1st at 1:30pm! This has not been a simple pregnancy - with me being sick for most of it and now on bed rest for the remainder! (Hence the newfound time for blogging!!) Apparently, my pregnancy problems were not a problem for him since he is predicted to be a big boy measuring at 7 pounds and 12 ounces at 36 weeks! We will see in a few days how accurate they can be! The baby's room is almost ready - the crib and bedding are finally all set up! Now we are just waiting...I have a doctors appointment on Monday at 2pm and if my blood pressure is ok we will wait til Thursday to deliver. If not, there is a chance that they will decide to go ahead on Monday. I am not sure which I prefer so will let God and my doctor decide for me :-)

Chase

Chase is in the 3rd grade at First Baptist Academy. He plays soccer, flag football, basketball, and baseball. He also loves playing tennis with Meme when she is in town. His favorite things are animals and he can quote you facts about just about every animal! He loves playing with his dogs Jessamin and Jake and his best friend Tanner. He also loves hanging out with PawPaw and Nana at the lake and going to visit Meme in Destin.

About Our Family

Lance and I were married on September 7, 2006 in Destin, Florida. Chase was the best man. The wedding was beautiful and attended by only close family. The ceremony was on a deck overlooking the beach and afterwards we all had dinner there on the porch. It could not have been more perfect.
