American Idol

Caden throughly enjoyed the American Idol finale on Wednesday night! He paid close attention for a long time and was thrilled that David Cook won :-) Look at those big eyes watching intently...

Living Statues Museum

Chase presented his speech today for the 3rd Grade's Living Statues Museum. He was Davy Crockett and did a great job! He had to make a board, find a costume, and memorize & recite a 2 minute speech. All of the kids did a great job!

2 Weeks Old

Caden is now 2 weeks old and doing good. He still doesn't understand the night/day concept, but we are working on it! :-) He also took his first trip this past weekend to Houston for a friend's wedding. He did not get to attend the wedding (he stayed in the hotel with his Nana), but Mom and Dad got to get out for a little bit and see some old friends. He had his 2 week doctors appointment where he had to get his heel pricked :-( - Mom was SO worried about taking him, but he didn't even flinch when the nurse did it! He has grown 2 inches since he was born and has gained back all of his weight plus 2 ounces! He was 7lbs 9ozs when we left the hospital and he is now 8lbs 7ozs. The doctor said he is doing great!

Caden arrived home!

We made it home from the hospital and are doing great! A little sleepy - ok, alot sleepy, but great! Caden prefers to sleep all day and stay awake at night so we are working on that :-) Chase is happy to have his new brother at home and is being a huge help!

Welcome CADEN LANCE KOBZA!

We have a name!! It only took us 3 days, but we have finally settled on a name for this sweet boy.

We go home tomorrow - Mom and Caden are both doing well and are ready to get home! Thank you for all your prayers - God has been really good to our family.
